"Everything is going to be okay.
It will be different, it will be hard but we can do this.
Let’s take it one breath at a time."
— Barbara Karnes, End-Of-Life Expert, RN
If you are here, something in your world may feel uncertain right now. You might be carrying questions, decisions or a quiet fear about what comes next.
Let’s take a deep breath together.
I come to this work with two distinct forms of knowledge.
One is clinical, shaped by nearly nineteen years as a Registered Nurse, including six years spent maintaining my licensure while living in Cuba. The other is deeply human, forged through sixteen years in palliative care and six years in hospice. By sitting at countless bedsides, loving my own family, and navigating the quiet moments of transition, I have come to realize that dying is not merely a medical event.
It is personal.
It is relational.
It is tender.
I know how heavy it can feel to hold everything together, to decipher the medical language, to make the difficult calls and to stay strong for everyone else. My role is to help steady that weight. I am here to translate what feels overwhelming and to create the space for you to simply be a beloved child, a spouse, a partner, a friend or be yourself.
You do not have to carry this alone. I am here to walk beside you with a tender presence and a steady hand.
