The Difference a Tender Presence Makes

A Steady Heart at the Bedside

1.

When exhaustion sets in, I step in.
You can sleep, shower, or simply sit outside for a moment of quiet, knowing your loved one is safe and not alone.

With my nursing experience, I understand the body’s changing language so you no longer have to monitor every breath.

Tending To The Whole Person

2.

End-of-life is not only physical, it is emotional, relational and deeply human.

I help families:

  • Understand what physical changes are normal.

  • Reduce fear by naming what is happening.

  • Create space for legacy conversations and meaning-making

When mystery fades, peace becomes possible.

A Guide Through The System

3.

The healthcare world can feel overwhelming.

I translate “doctor-talk” into clear language.
I help you ask the right questions.
I support Advance Care Planning so decisions are made gently, not in crisis.

“We cannot change the outcome, but we can change the experience.”

Nursing services are provided in accordance with the standards of practice set by the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Quebec

Death Doula (Non-Clinical Support)

In Quebec, I support families in a non-clinical capacity as a Death Doula.

I may walk alongside you with:

• Bedside presence and emotional support
• Advance Care Planning conversations
• Legacy projects and life reflection
• Grief and transition support
• Guidance through complex systems

Clinical nursing services are not provided in Quebec.

In Québec, in-person services are offered throughout Gatineau and neighbouring communities. This includes the Gatineau sector, Hull, Aylmer, Le Plateau, Pointe-Gatineau, Buckingham, Masson-Angers, as well as Chelsea, Cantley, and Val-des-Monts.

If you’re unsure what applies to your situation, we can clarify it together during our first conversation.

A First Step, When You’re Ready

If you are feeling uncertainty or simply need someone to sit beside you and help make sense of what you’re seeing, I invite you to begin with a Discovery & Roadmap Session.

We will sit at your kitchen table — or connect quietly by video — and begin clearing the fog together.
